It was a Bright Sunshiney Day!

What a gorgeous day it was for the farmer's market in Red Deer on Saturday. Not a cloud in the sky, and the sounds and smells of the seasonal market filled the air. I made sure to get an extra bag of mini donuts for my husband, but than managed to forget them in the van. (He ate them anyway) My crafty cousin Jani-Lee came with me this time with her garden stone collection, this is one you'll have to see in person, they are so awesome. They look like carved stones, but are actually handmade from concrete and then carefully stamped. She does custom orders too, in whatever sayings or words or names you would like. Our booth was tucked away in the corner at the very edge of the market, but it was still a lot of fun, and we had a ton of people checking out the goods. I can't wait to do it again! Stay tuned, I'll be marking to the right -----> which dates I'll be back, most likely the first weekend in June. If you would like a custom order (from me or Jani-Lee) make sure you get it in and you can pick it up at the next one! Red Deer Farmer's Market - May 23rd 2009

It's that time of year again! And it looks like the weather is finally going to cooperate. Join me this Saturday at the Red Deer Farmer's Market! It's held from 7:30am to 12:30pm at the curling rink parking lot. A friend of mine went to check it out last weekend and said it was busy busy busy with vendors and shoppers! This week, my cousin Jani is going to be coming with me, she makes the most amazing garden stones, and they are also very reasonably priced.
